Our Austrian holiday let studio apartment sleeps 2 (+1 child), and is located in Gosau, near Hallstatt and Salzburg. It is at the premier ski resort of the Salzkammergut lakes region (Dachsein-West) and is popular for walking holidays in other seasons.
It is situated within the pretigious VitalHotel leisure-spa complex, and comes with all the essential facilities guests love for relaxing after active/lazy days in mountains or by the lakes.
Guests have free use of the indoor pool, sauna and ski-bus, too.
Sunny south-west facing balcony. Extensive views up the spectacular valley to the massive Dachstein mountains nearby, and over to the ski slopes. There is a small kitchen and bathroon, with tub and shower, and hot water always.
Gosau is one of Austria’s best kept skiing secrets. Snow is plentiful and is replenished regularly. Great intermediate skiing, snowboarding and langlauf.
When the snow's gone hikers and cyclists come to enjoy over 400 kms of marked hiking and biking trails in the stunning scenery. Cable car ride to mountain top.
Come and enjoy the beauty of the Salzkammergut. Visit lakeside villages, climb a mountain, take a cable car ride, visit the Ice Cave, a salt mine, go lake swimming, boating, enjoy a spa treat, etc. Other activities include white water rafting, 'tubing'- there's plenty to do all year around, for a rewarding active holiday or romantic break - for couples of all ages!
